I want to invite all of you to join Jack and I at the Socks for Soldiers fundraiser on Tuesday, Oct 6th starting at 6 at Cherae Heights Casino in Trinidad. The $20 ticket includes dinner and casino tokens. There will be live and silent auctions.
A local woman, Paulette, started this when her son asked her to send him some socks when he was serving overseas 7 years ago. So far this year she has 2000 requests -last year she was only able to send 1700 boxes, even though the requests were for about double that.
